The home game against the Sanford Chiefs was held at the fields across from the Citrus Bowl because of too much rain this week at the Freedom High School field. There were many back and forth plays- both teams gaining yardage- but neither was able to put any points on the board. We scored a touchdown in the 3rd quarter but it was called back because of a penalty. We finally came away with a win with a score of 0-0 after we gained more yardage than the Chiefs in overtime. We lost Diego for the season in the 2nd quarter with an ankle fracture- he will be missed tremendously! We also said a sad farewell to Keenan McGhee who played his last game with the Patriots today and will be missed.
